At high frequencies, a moisture-free connection is a must at all times.
Many failures are traceable to bad connections and seals.

New! From Eagle Aspen

The Eagle Aspen coaxial sealant is an ethylene propylene rubber base tape which provides excellent moisture and corrosion protection.  The tape is self-amalgamating, which when properly installed melds together to create a tight fitting permanent protection boot.  It is an all purpose tape providing superior UV and ozone protection plus temperature flexibility.  Coaxial Sealant is removable and reusable.
